ProcureCircular is a software designed for businesses. A key feature of the software is a digital marketplace, supported with procurement steps to facilitate trading of ReUse and sustainable materials at scale. A request management feature supports this. Additional features support the calculation of environmental impact of the purchase. Furthermore, the environmental footprint of an end-product can be generated.
ProcureCircular conducts LCA and ESG reporting through extensive research, ensuring validation by industry-leading standards such as PEF, EPD, ISO 14067, and ISO 14044. This approach guarantees speed, accuracy, and regulatory clarity. Our assessments calculate various environmental indices, including—but not limited to—the negative impact of material waste, considering factors such as material type, quantity, and country of origin.
Every supplier agrees upon registration that all listed materials are surplus to their needs, ensuring only materials that have exited their supply chain are made available. Additionally, a ProcureCircular representative verifies each listing for quality, age, and status before approval for purchase. For new sustainable materials, similar checks are conducted to assess certification, quality, and other key aspects of their value chain.
ProcureCircular welcomes suppliers specializing in natural materials (plant- or animal-based) such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen. We particularly encourage the inclusion of natural and similarly innovative sustainable materials like vegan silk, hemp, and ramie. Creating an account on the platform is free, allowing companies to search and explore. However, to list products and connect with potential buyers, a Circular Starter pack must be purchased. Additionally, all listed materials undergo an approval process conducted by a ProcureCircular representative to ensure authenticity and quality.
ProcureCircular ensures fair and transparent transactions between buyers and suppliers through a structured quality control process. All listed materials undergo validation by a PC representative to assess quality, age, and certification before being approved for purchase. To maintain pricing transparency, suppliers set their own prices, but buyers have access to market insights and material comparisons, fostering informed decision-making. Additionally, our platform facilitates negotiations within a trusted environment. Dispute resolution mechanisms and a clear code of conduct further reinforce accountability, ensuring a reliable and equitable marketplace for all participants.
ProcureCircular has supported companies in transitioning to sustainable materials by connecting them with verified surplus and eco-friendly alternatives. For example, we helped a textile manufacturer replace virgin cotton with surplus organic cotton, reducing waste and lowering their environmental footprint during the manufacturing of 500 denim dungarees. Another client used a 100% organic cotton sourced from Spain to create a new product line of baby blankets, improving sustainability without compromising quality. These transitions have streamlined supply chains, minimized material waste, and enhanced compliance with evolving regulations, ultimately leading to more responsible and circular production practices.
Our platform is a software-as-a-service platform. This means that buyers and suppliers can easily list and procure materials through the platform. We provide a support service for all users via email, but it is also possible to access real-time support with our more advanced subscriptions. In addition, the company provides consulting services to support online activity. We support manufacturers to identify, categorise and list their materials on the platform, and we provide brands environmental consulting services to align their recirculation strategy with their broader ESG goals, and to report on progress based on the impact achieved.

We are on a mission to recirculate dead inventory and reconnect it back to the value chain for the textiles industry and others. That means two things – re-use of high-quality materials that still have value for another manufacturer plus re-cycling of materials where no re-use buyer can be found. We have an extensive network of recycling partners who ensure that no waste that is listed on the ProcureCircular platform goes to the landfill.
